Hauz Khas Fort Historical Significance: The Hauz Khas Complex was originally built by Sultan Alauddin Khalji in the 13th century as a water reservoir (hauz) to supply water to the nearby Siri Fort. During the reign of Firoz Shah Tughlaq in the 14th century, the reservoir was deepened and expanded.
