Biography of R. Rajalakshmi Early life of R. Rajalakshmi: R. Rajalakshmi's full name is Lakshmi Ramaswamy Ayar. R. Rajalakshmi was an Indian biochemist and nutritionist. She developed nutritious, affordable food for Indian families. R. Rajalakshmi was born in 1926 in the city of Kolam in Kerala, India. Her father's name was GS Ramaswamy Ayar and mother's name was Meenakshi. Her Peeta was a posting audit officer. Rajalakshmi was married to Ramakrishnan. Vecantraman Ramakrishnan and Lalita Ramakrishnan are both their children. R. In 1945, Rajalakshmi obtained a mathematics degree from Wadia College, Pune.
