Vibration plane In flat polarized light, the plane in which both the direction of light moving and the direction of vibration of the electric vector is located is called the vibrational plane. Polarity plane A plane perpendicular to the vibrational plane in plane polarized light in which the direction of light transmission is located is called the polarization plane.
