He made his first-class debut for Tamil Nadu in the 2014-15 Ranji Trophy season. He has also represented teams in the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL).

IPL Career:

Natarajan was picked up by Kings XI Punjab (now known as Punjab Kings) in the 2017 IPL season. However, he gained significant attention during his stint with Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2020 IPL. Despite being a relatively unknown name, Natarajan impressed everyone with his accurate yorkers and ability to bowl in the death overs.
