This day is also Mokshada Ekadashi. Therefore sadhaks can also observe Ekadashi fast. For this, give up vengeful food from Dashami i.e. 13th December. Follow the rule of celibacy. On the day of Gita Jayanti, get up at Brahm Bela and start the day by meditating and remembering Lord Shri Vishnu. After this, after retiring from daily work, take a bath with water containing Ganges water. Then do aamchan by reciting the mantra of 'Om Gange'. Wearing clean clothes, worship Lord Shri Hari Vishnu with yellow fruits, flowers, incense-lamp, durva etc. If the seeker has enough time, then definitely recite the Gita. In the end, complete the worship by performing aarti. Keep fast for the whole day. If needed, one can take water and one fruit at a time. In the evening, after the aarti and prayer, eat fruit.
