World Polio Day:

World Polio Day  is observed annually on  October 24th  to raise awareness about the importance of eradicating polio, a vaccine-preventable disease. The day also commemorates the birth of Jonas Salk, the scientist who led the first team to develop a polio vaccine.

1.  Raise Awareness:  World Polio Day aims to increase awareness about the global efforts to eradicate polio and the importance of immunization.

 Significance:
