JioPhone's new pre-paid plan with a validity of 336 days, get daily 2Gb high-speed data, these benefits including unlimited calling.

Earlier this year in February, Jio announced the JioPhone 2021 offer under which users can recharge for up to two years with the JioPhone device. These offers were priced at Rs 1499 and Rs 1999 and offered 2GB data per month for 12 and 24 months. It came with unlimited calls and a JioPhone device. Meanwhile, Jio has also announced a prepaid plan priced at Rs 749 for existing Jio customers. This plan comes with a benefit of 2GB data per 28 days, in which 24GB data is given for 336 days or 12 months.

The Rs 749 plan offers 2GB high-speed data per month after which the speed is reduced to 64 Kbps. The plan comes with 50 sms per 28 days and unlimited calls and access to Jio apps including JioTV, JioCinema, JioNews, JioSecurity and JioCloud. This plan is applicable for JioPhone users.

Jio's Rs 749 is the first long term plan that comes with existing JioPhone plans. Earlier this month, Jio also introduced a new JioPhone plan of Rs 75. The development comes soon after the telco discontinued its entry-level Rs 39 and Rs 69 plans, and also introduced Buy-1, Get-1 offers on the plans for JioPhone users. The new JioPhone Rs 75 plan also offers 100MB data per day, unlimited voice calls to any network, 50 SMS per day and access to Jio apps like JioTV, JioCinema, JioNews, JioSecurity and JioCloud.

This plan also provides additional 200MB of data at no additional cost. Other JioPhone prepaid plans available on the telco's website are now priced at Rs 125, Rs 155, Rs 185 and Rs 749. The plan offers 0.1GB, 0.5GB, 1GB, 2GB daily data with a validity of 28 days excluding the prepaid of Rs 749. The plan whose validity is 336 days.

Jio was going to launch its Google-backed 4G smartphone JioPhone Next on September 10. However, the launch of the smartphone has been postponed till Diwali. Reliance in a statement confirmed the delay and said that the JioPhone Next roll out will start around the Diwali festive season. This means that JioPhone Next can be expected to go on sale in early November.
