Why is the resolution range of electron microscope lower than the resolution limit of other optical microscopes?
The wavelength of the electron beam used in the electron microscope is 1/5000 compared to the wavelength of the light beam used in the optical microscope. Therefore, the resolution range of the electron microscope is only 1/5000 of the resolution range of any optical microscope.
