Indian Gujiya: The price of this huge Gujhiya is Rs 1200 per piece, know why?
Gujhiya deep fry is a fried dessert that is prepared using refined flour, khoya, sugar and dry fruits. In the market, you may have heard of many types of Gujhiyas like Deep Fry Gujhiya, Backed Gujhiya, Sugar-Free Gujhiya but Chappan Bhog from Lucknow recently introduced 'Bahubali Gujhiya' which weighs 1.5 kg and measures 14 Inches.
These giant deep fry gujiyas have been prepared by mixing khoya, saffron, almonds, pistachios and sugar. It takes 20-25 minutes to make this one piece Gujhiya costs Rs 1200. Iconic and Sweet Shop in Lucknow recently held a competition in which to finish this Gujhiya in 8 minutes.
According to Chappan Bhog shopkeeper Ravindra Gupta, the purpose of the competition was to inform people about this Gujhiya. Even before this, every year we have been spreading new ideas to the people. He told that Baby Gujhiya is also present in our shop, which is 1.5 inches in size.
This is not the first time that Chhappan Bhog has made headlines with his innovation. Even before this, Chhappan Bhog has made a mark globally for making the most expensive dessert called Exotica in India, which costs Rs 50000 per kg.
