Holi Bhai Dooj:
Holi Bhai Dooj is a festival celebrated in North India, particularly in the state of Uttar Pradesh. It falls on the second day after the Holi festival, which is also known as Dhuleti. Holi Bhai Dooj is similar to the more well-known Bhai Dooj festival celebrated in other parts of India, but it is specific to the region of Uttar Pradesh.
On Holi Bhai Dooj, sisters perform a ritual where they apply a tilak (a colored mark) on their brothers' foreheads, similar to Bhai Dooj. Sisters pray for the well-being and long life of their brothers and offer them sweets. In return, brothers give gifts to their sisters as a token of love and appreciation. This festival strengthens the bond between brothers and sisters, similar to the Bhai Dooj celebrations in other regions of India.
