Garikapati Narahari Shastri, sometimes referred to as Garikipati Narasimha Rao. He is an Indian scholar, speaker, and spiritual leader known for his discourses on Hindu scriptures, particularly the Bhagavad Gita and other sacred texts.

Early life of Garikpati Narhari Shastri:

Garifapati Narhari Shastri was born in 1966 in the state of Andhra Pradesh. He completed his BSc and MSc in Chemistry from Osmania University. He was awarded PhD from Hyderabad University.


 He did his post doctoral work in Switzerland to Israel before joining the Department of Chemistry, Pondicherry University in December 1997. He moved to Aayiacity in 2002.

Garikapati Narhari Shastri is an Indian chemist. He took over as the Director of SIR-NORTH EAST INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, JORHAT, Assam on 19 February 2019. He is Head of the Molecular Modeling Division at the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology in Hyderabad.


GN Shastri has made pioneering contributions in the fields of computational chemistry and computational biology. He has guided 21 PhD students. Published more than 275 papers. Currently there are 12 members.

 GN Shastri's major research contribution to science 1) Development of indigenous softwares for drug discovery 2) Fundamental contribution to retention Cooperative non-covalent interactions He is a regular reviewer of some reputed journals.


And is the Chairperson of the Editorial Board of Kutch magazines. He also highlighted research on molecular modeling and computer aided drug design. He was a visiting professor at IMS Japan.
