Biography of Shivraj Ramsharan

Early Biography of Shivraj Ramsharan:

        Shiraj Ramsharan was an Indian scientist who was known for his work in the field of kistolography. Shivraj Ramsharan was born on 10 October 1923 in Madras city in India, he was married to Kausalya. Kausalya BS Srinivasa Shastri was the granddaughter of an Indian politician. He received his early education from Nagpur.

        He received his BAC Honors degree from Nagpur University in 1943 and received the MSc degree in 1945. In 1948, he received an associate's degree in IISc and in 1949, a degree in DSC in Nagpur University. He received his PhD under CV Raman.

Work of Shivraj Ramsharan:

        After completing his doctorate, he worked at the Indian Institute of Science as a lecturer. At that time he developed an interest in X-rays and was instrumental in improving the Materials Science Division Division in the National Aerospace Laboratories. He has worked as a professor in the Indian Institute of Technology.

        Prof. Ramayash had worked as a research assistant in ISC in 1945 in the beginning of his career. He was then the Director of IICS from 1981 to 1984. From 1949-1953 I have been a lecturer in ISC.

        From 1953 to 1962, he was working as Assistant Professor. He was a director in 1981 during 1984. Prof. Ramsharan has worked at the Polytechnic Institute in Brooklyn, New York from 1954 to 1955. He was an honorary Distinguished Professor Emeritus at the Research Institute from 1984 to 2003.

1) Prof. Ramsharan was awarded the Bhatnagar Prize in 1966, Shanti Swaroop Swaroop, Government of India.
2) In 1980, Ramsharan received real prizes.
3) He won the INSA Aryabhata Medal in 1985.
4) In 1985, he was awarded the Padma Bhushan award by the Government of India.
5) In 1955, he is a Fellow of the Indian Academy of Sciences.
6) In 1972, he was dismissed as a Fellow of the Indian National Science Academy.
