Early Biography of Rajesh Gopkumar:

        Rajesh Gopkumar is a theoretical physicist. He is also the Director of International Center for Theoretical Sciences ICTS TIFR. Not only this, but he was also a professor in Harishchandra Research Institute HRI in Allahabad, India.

        Rajesh Gopkumar was born on 14 December 1967 in the city of Kolkata in India. His father's name is G Gopalkumar and mother's name is Jayashree Gopkumar. His family is from southern Indian state of Kerala. Rajesh is married to Rukmini Dey. He is Professor of Mathematical Physics and Geometry at ICTS TIFR.

        Rajesh has received his BSc and M.Sc degrees in Physics from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. In 1997, he completed his PhD from Priston University under the supervision of David Gross.

Works of Rajesh Gopkumar :

        Rajesh has worked as a research associate at Harvard University. He then joined HRI. He has also been a visiting fellow at the Institute for Advanced Study in New Jersey from 2001 to 2004. Rajesh Gopakumar is a string theorist.

        He has extensively done research on the big n gauge theory with David Gross. Gauge Geometry correspondence with Andrew Stromiger and Shiraz Miwala with noncommutative gauge theory and topological string theory and compression wafa and he is particularly known for his proposal of Gopkumar. Rajesh has made significant contribution to Higher Theory and his contribution with string theory. He has also worked on conformal bootstrap.

Achievements of Rajesh Gopkumar :

1) In 2004, Rajesh was awarded the BM Birla Award.
2) In 2006, he received ICTP award.
3) In the year 2009, Rajesh has been honored by the Government of India with the award of peace form Bhatnagar.
4) In 2010, Rajesh was a Fellow of the Global Young Academy of Scientists.
5) Rajesh is a member of Indian Academy of Sciences and Indian National Science Academy.
