Early Biography of R. Sowadhamini:

        Ramanathan Soudhamini is an Indian computational biologist bioinformatician. He is also a professor in the Department of Biochemistry, Department of Bioinformatics and Bioinformatics, Department of Biotechnology. Ramanathan Sowadhmini was born on 24 May 1964 in Tamil Nadu, India. He has a master's degree in basic chemistry from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.

        He then received his PhD from the Indian Institute of Science. Sevadhamini has worked for the Post Doctorate at the University of London and the University of Cambridge. Saidhamani has done computational study of protein science as well as research in the field of genome sequencing.

Works of R. Sowadhamini :

        Saudhamini is involved in a research facility at the National Center for Biological Sciences NCBS, Bangalore. He is also working as Professor in the Department of Biochemistry, Biophysics and Bioinformatics. Not only this, but Soudhamini also works as an associate in the Department of Biotechnology's Center for CardiovascularSchooler Biology and Disease for Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine.

        Saudhamini has conducted genome surveys of several protein families and superfamilies. His team is commonly known as Tulsi. By their group, she has been successful in preparing the draft genome of medicinal properties.

        Saidhamini has led a co-operative project in two institutions, Coil-Coil Interaction with Protein, with James Spudilch of the Sanford University and Heinrich of the Technological University of Denmark and Heinrich Phalvarj of the Technik University in Denmark. He has led this project for the study of the National Center for Biological Sciences.

1) R Soudhamini has been awarded the National Biological Sciences Award by the Government of India in the year 2007.
2) In 2010, he was selected as a fellow by the Indian Academy of Sciences.
3) In 2010, Saudhamini received the Human Science Program Program award.
4) In 2011, she was elected a fellow of the Indian National Science Academy.
