IPL 2020 schedule UAE: These 10 important decisions taken in the Governing Council meeting

On Sunday, 2 August, the Governing Council met for the conduct of IPL 2020 through video conferencing. Many issues were discussed in this meeting and they were also finalized. In a way, the BCCI and the IPL Governing Council have stamped on 10 major issues of IPL. These include IPL timings and when will the IPL begin and when will the final match be played? There is talk on this too.



The BCCI and the IPL Governing Council have not yet released the full schedule of the tournament, but have confirmed that the IPL will start on September 19, but the final will be played on November 10, not 8. At the same time, in this meeting of the IPL Governing Council, it has also been decided that the women's IPL (T20 Challenge) to be played between the women will be played in the men's IPL playoff matches.

Not only this, it has also become clear in this meeting what will be the timing of IPL matches. According to BCCI, the IPL night match will be played at 7:30 pm Indian time, while the afternoon match will start at 3:30 pm according to Indian time. However, the timing will be different at that time in the UAE, as there is a difference of about one and a half hours between the time in India and the UAE. In such a situation, the match will start in UAE from 6 pm.
