Covid-19 Herd Immunity | my experiences

Covid-19 Herd Immunity: Herd immunity can outperform corona, 43% of people must be infected

Covid-19 Herd Immunity: Corona virus cases are increasing continuously in the country and the world. With this, things like vaccine and its treatment are coming out. There is no cure for the corona virus yet, nor is there a way to prevent it. Asymptomatic cases are increasing, which means that there are more people who are infected but do not see any symptoms.

Covid-19 Herd Immunity

In the beginning of this dangerous pandemic, there was hope that there was only one way to defeat the corona virus and that is herd immunity. Under which, at least 70 percent of the world's population had to be infected with this disease. This figure seemed not only very risky, but there were many factors which rejected the work of this concept.

However, according to new research, corona virus infection is no longer necessary for herd immunity but in 70 percent but 43 percent of people. This study appeared in Science Journal which was done by mathematicians from University of Nottingham and University of Stockholm. Research has estimated that the percentage of the population that needs to be infected to prevent transmission is just 43%, while it was previously estimated that at least 70% of the population could have infected herd immunity. is.

What is herd immunity?

According to this theory, the lockdown was effective as long as people were imprisoned in homes. As people started coming out of the houses, these infections rapidly caught them. Therefore, there is a need to face this infection rather than hiding it. The more people get infected by it, the more strength will be generated in the human body to fight it. This is called herd immunity.

How Herd Immunity Works?

To avoid the corona virus, many scientists are advising the world to adopt herd immunity to prevent it from spreading.

It is very strange. But according to the oldest method of medical science, this is absolutely true. Herd immunity means collective immunity. This means that in order to protect people in future, a certain part of the population should be allowed to be infected with the virus. This will create a collective immunity against infection within their body.

This will create antibodies against the virus in the body. Which can be tried to prepare the vaccine from their body. So that this virus will neither infect them nor others again. Scientists are understanding this fastest way to make corona vaccine. Otherwise, it would not be long enough for the vaccine to be formed so that half of the world's population would be absorbed into the pit of time.
