Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday called for the implementation of the AYUSH Ministry's suggestions to increase the body's resistance to the corona virus. He said that in the suggestions of the Ministry, there are many other measures like drinking hot water which are also being adopted for years.

PM Modi tweeted, 'The Ministry of AYUSH had recently issued easy suggestions to increase the body's resistance. There are many in this which I have been following for years. For example, I drink hot water only. He said, 'I urge you to look into the suggestions of the Ministry of AYUSH. Make them part of your life and give advice to others as well. Let us focus on good health. '

In view of the spread of corona virus, the Ministry of AYUSH has issued some self-care guidelines along with precautionary health measures to increase immunity. These are based on Ayurvedic literature and scientific publications. These include drinking hot water throughout the day; Half an hour daily, it is advised to use turmeric, cumin, coriander and garlic in meditation and pranayama and meditation.

Apart from this, consuming 10 grams of Chyawanprash (sugar free for diabetes patients) in the morning; It has been recommended to drink Ayurvedic tea or decoction (made of basil, cinnamon, black pepper, dry ginger and raisins) and 150 ml of hot milk by adding turmeric powder once or twice a day. Also, it is advised to apply sesame or coconut oil or ghee in the nose in the morning and evening.

In the case of dry cough and sore throat, fresh leaves of mint or parsley are added once a day to steam. Apart from this, clove can also be taken with natural sugar or honey. The above measures are effective only in common cough and cold, so if the symptoms persist, then it is recommended to consult the doctor in the guidelines.
