Congress released first list of candidates for 54 seats, see full list

The Congress has released the first list of its candidates for the Delhi Assembly elections 2020. The first list includes the names of 54 candidates. Former minister Harun Yusuf has received a ticket from Ballimaran. Former Congress minister from Ashna Nagar, Dr. Ashok Walia has been nominated by the Congress. While the party has fielded former minister Amarinder Singh Lovely from Gandhi Nagar.

Congress has fielded Matin Ahmed from Seelampur, Ali Mehendi from Musfabad, Jai Kishan from Sultanpur Majra and Devendra Yadav from Badli. Akanksha Ola from Model Town, Satbir Sharma from Sadar Bazar, Mirza Javed Ali from Matia Mahal, Krishna Tirath from Patel Nagar have got tickets.

Two leaders from Aam Aadmi Party got tickets


The Congress has also given ticket to two leaders who came to the party after rebelling from the Aam Aadmi Party. Aam Aadmi Party MLA Adarsh ​​Shastri, who joined Congress on Saturday evening, got a ticket from Dwarka. He is an MLA from this seat. While Alka Lamba, who rebelled from Aam Aadmi Party and joined Congress, has also been given a ticket. Alka will be the party's candidate from Chandni Chowk. She also won the same seat in 2015.
