RISTI Scheme (Sustainable Rooftop Implementation for Solar Transfiguration of India)

The Srishti Scheme has been launched by the Central Government and is fully regulated and implemented by the Ministry of Renewable and New Energy within the country. The exact date of implementation of the scheme has not yet been announced by the Central Government. Srishti Yojana / SRISTI Scheme Central government scheme has been launched to promote solar energy. The Sanskriti Scheme  is an elaborate form of permanent implementation of India's solar transfusion. The scheme is starting with the induction of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy. The main objective of the government behind this scheme is to promote the use of sustainable forms of energy for local residential people. We all know about the state of the energy sector in our country. India is the top solar power producing country. But it is a matter of fact that there are some areas in our country where the need for electricity has not started yet.

The government is taking this scheme as an initiative to meet the electricity requirement and promote the use of solar energy. Applications for rooftop solar power plant subsidy will be released soon. The implementation of the scheme is done on a large scale. If you live in a residential area, they can also take advantage of the scheme. The implementation of the scheme will be announced by the Central Government in the coming days.

Rooftop Solar (RTS - Rooftop Solar) plants use roof space for solar production. Typically 1 kilowatt rooftop solar (RTS - Rooftop Solar) plant requires about 10 square meters of area. Such electricity can either be used for captive consumption of the premises or it can be converted into grids and adjusted to the electricity bill. Net metering regulations notified by the respective State Electricity Regulatory Commissions (SERC) provide a legal framework for such adjustments. Rooftop Solar (RTS - Rooftop Solar) plants also help distribution utilities / companies (discoms) by eliminating transmission and distribution losses due to power consumption and production being co-located. These are also useful in dealing with day time peak loads because the solar generation profile matches such peak loads. The Government of India has set a target of installing 40,000 MW RTS power by the year 2022.

Main Features of Sristi Planning Solar Rooftop Plant

  • This Srishti Scheme / SRISTI Scheme is mainly providing financial assistance to those who are setting up solar rooftop power plant project.
  • The regulation of the Srishti Scheme / SRISTI Scheme is being run in coordination with the Central Government and the Ministry of Renewable and New Energy.
  • This Srishti Scheme / SRISTI Scheme is a solar energy energy enhancing plot project of the government.

Promotion under Sristi Yojana Solar Rooftop Plant

The following incentives will be given by the Central Government under the Srishti Scheme / SRISTI Scheme.
  • Under this Srihti Scheme / SRISTI Scheme, users associated with the residential sector will be offered an incentive to generate 18,000 kW at a rate of 60,000 WW.
  • Discom facility will be provided by the government in various sectors including commercial, government, industrial and social. The government will offer a fixed rate of Rs 55000 per kWh at the rate of Rs 5500 per kWh.
  • A total subsidy of Rs 9000 crores will be offered by the government for the establishment of 5000 MW capacity of the plant under Sristi Yojana / SRISTI Scheme.
  • The government will provide a subsidy of Rs 14,450 crore for discoms for installation of solar panels on 35000 MW roofs.
  • The total outlay of the entire project will be 40 GW of power with an investment of Rs. 23450 crore.

  • You have to fill this application form with the complete information asked.
  • After filling the complete application form, the department officials will contact you and verify all the information and documents.
  • Once your application is approved, your roof will be checked.
  • After completion of all the process, you will have to pay the fees and the engineers of the department will come and install the solar power plant on your roof.
