The Gobar Dhan Yojana, officially known as the Galvanizing Organic Bio-Agro Resources (GOBAR) - DHAN scheme, is an initiative by the Government of India to promote the management and conversion of cattle dung and solid waste into compost, biogas, and other valuable products. Launched in April 2018, the scheme aims to support sustainable agricultural practices, enhance farmers' income, and promote cleanliness in rural areas.
