Driving Training Center Scheme:

The Driving Training Centre Scheme is a skill development initiative that aims to provide financial assistance to private participants for setting up driving training centres (DTC). The scheme is designed to provide skill training compatible with the standards of the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF).

The DTC comprises physical infrastructure such as land, simulators, vehicles, and workshops. The scheme’s primary objective is to provide quality training to commercial vehicle drivers, improve road and environmental safety, and strengthen overall mobility on roads. The scheme shall remain in operation until 31.03.2020.
