Child hygiene campaign

On November 14, a mission in the form of child hygiene campaign has been launched to make children across India aware of cleanliness. Cleanliness is a very important task for everyone, although it is very important for children to reduce the death rate along with reducing the disease due to unhealthy condition. Cleanliness is a good work and if it is done by parents from childhood, it can be followed by children as a good habit. Along with knowing about the importance and necessity of cleanliness, it is important for every child to understand cleanliness as their first and most important responsibility. Cleanliness is a good habit that promotes us towards a good life and makes us physically, mentally, socially and intellectually healthy.

Child hygiene campaign

The child cleanliness campaign was launched by the Central Government on 14 November 2014 on the birthday of the first Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. It is a five-day cleanliness campaign that begins on 14 November (the birthday of the first Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru) and ends on 19 November (the birthday of India's first female Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi). To ensure the success of the child cleanliness campaign, the government has ordered schools, colleges and other educational institutions to celebrate Children's Day with all the preparations.

It was started by Maneka Gandhi, Union Minister for Women and Child Development, at the Maidan Garhi in Delhi. Children's Day is celebrated every 14 November to pay tribute to the first Prime Minister of India on his birthday. This campaign was started especially on Children's Day to easily increase awareness about hygiene among children across India.

Bal Sanitation Abhiyan

Bal Sanitation Abhiyan is an environmental and personal hygiene mission, launched by the Indian government on Children's Day (on 14 November 2014) to make the occasion purposeful and meaningful. The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (a program to initiate the work of cleanliness among the Indian people), launched by the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, is perhaps more in line with this mission.

The Bal Swachh Mission by the Indian government is a major step to involve school children in this cleanliness campaign through child hygiene campaign. This long five-day festival is based on five different themes on all days to make this campaign more successful and effective. This mission begins on Pandit Nehru's birthday (14 November) and ends on Indira Gandhi's birthday (19 November).

This mission has been implemented by the understanding that children can play a greater role in 2019 with a greater chance of achieving Swachh Bharat. Children need encouragement and encouragement to do anything, so children are a good medium in promoting hygiene habit in environment, home, their surroundings, road, school, personal clean-up, etc. Children are cleanliness messengers in homes and communities, especially across India. The main goal of celebrating this campaign is the cleanliness of our surroundings, schools, anganwadi, personal hygiene and children's health, keeping drinking water clean, clean food and clean toilets etc. To meet the need of this mission, many sanitation programs are organized in the school.

To increase awareness among children about hygiene, the Indian government is running a cleanliness child cleanliness campaign. To make this festival more effective, this mission was started on Children's Day, especially in 2014. It is a five-day long mission which is celebrated from 14 November to 19 November. In 2014, all five days of the festival had different themes such as the theme of November 14 was "Clean Schools, Our Surroundings and Playgrounds", the theme of November 15 was "Clean Food", the theme of November 17 was "Cabinets. Keep Clean ", the November 18 theme was" Cleaning Drinking Water "and the November 19 theme was" Clean Toilet ".

The birth anniversary of Pt. Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India, is celebrated every year on 14 November as Children's Day. Therefore, to make this cleanliness campaign more purposeful and effective, child cleanliness campaign has been started. During this event, a lot of activities including essay writing competition, poetry recitation on related topics, poster making competition, painting, speech, sports activities, group discussion, debate, cleanliness activities etc. are organized by the school teachers. In order to bring enthusiasm and encouragement in each other, some tasks are given to school children according to the group to complete in a limited time.

Cleanliness is a very important task for all Indian citizens, although it can be better promoted by children in India. School going children are the best means to promote environmental and personal hygiene habits. Every student participates in the cleanliness drive from home or school wholeheartedly. On the day of celebration, students are explained first by their teachers or headmasters about the need, benefits and importance of hygiene in the environment and body and then celebrating it through cultural programs, dance, singing, question-answer competition etc. Is initiated. The students demonstrate their progressive style and method of promoting cleanliness in the society by effectively seeing the cleanliness campaign.

Along with making sanitation a major part in daily life, children of all schools actively participate in the ongoing cleanliness drive to make India a clean India. Cleanliness is a campaign, which can be accomplished only when all Indian citizens participate and will contribute their best in maintaining cleanliness daily. The five-day long mission had the following theme as of the festive date in 2014:

• The theme of 14 November was "Clean Schools, Around Us and Playgrounds".
• The theme of 15 November was "Clean Food".
• The theme of 17 November was "Keep the shelves clean".
• The theme of November 18 was "Cleaning Drinking Water".
• The theme of 19 November was "Clean Toilet".

To make the festival more enthusiastic, effective, targeted and purposeful, the government decided to have different themes of special dates. All the students actively participated in the cleanliness drive and followed strict instructions to remove garbage from the surrounding areas. Students are encouraged, guided and supervised by their teachers and headmasters to present many activities related to the program.
