Biography of Ernest Hemingwa
Hemingway was born in 1899 and grew up with a love for the outdoors. His passion for adventure led him to obtain a position as an ambulance driver in the Italian Army during World War I. Injured during his duties, he fell in love with a Red Cross nurse during his hospitalization. After facing the nurse's rejection, Hemingway faced a rocky love life, eventually getting married four times. Hemingway's very personal life is reflected in the subject matter of his writing. Like other modern writers, there is a deliberate disappointment in his work and implying that life is a losing battle (a theme clearly articulated in his Pulitzer-winning novel The Old Man and the Sea). Hemingway's own preferences such as bullfighting and deep sea fishing influenced the setting and characters of his novels, gaining him a reputation for his "masculine" theme. His experiences in the war also found their way into his works, revealing Hemingway's conviction that war is both futile and deeply shouted to rise above the inevitable sufferings of life, with Hemingway and his characters in the face of pain. But one must rely on courage, patience, and dignity.

After her divorce from Richardson in 1927, Hemingway married Pauline Paffer; He divorced after returning from the Spanish Civil War, where he was a journalist, and then wrote for Kiss What the Bell Tolls (1940). Martha Gellhorn became his third wife in 1940; He parted when he met Mary Welsh in London during World War II. He was present at Normandy Landing and the Liberation of Paris.

Shortly after the publication of The Old Man and the Sea (1952), Hemingway went on a safari to Africa, where he nearly crashed into two planes, leaving him in pain or ill health for the rest of his life. . Hemingway maintained permanent residents in Key West, Florida, (1930s) and Cuba (1940s and 1950s), and in 1959 he purchased a home in Ketchum, Idaho, where he Killed himself in mid-1961.

In 1921, he married Hedley Richardson, the first of his four wives. The couple moved to Paris, where he worked as a foreign correspondent and was part of the 1920s "Lost Generation" migrant community of modernist writers and artists Fell under the influence. He published his first innovative novel, The Sun with Rise, in 1926.

Hemingway had become a mythical personality. But despite immense popularity and success, he became a patient of depression and despair. His standards for life were very high. Throughout his life, he kept looking for a better life. One of his biographers has written that he wanted to get everything together and at that very moment he wanted to get nothing. He made four marriages, had innumerable loves and after he died left behind many legends of his secret life. Like his literature, readers still have a fascination for his life till date. Hemingway is said to have been a top-class perfectionist in his writing. He was looking for this perfection in life as well. Maybe because of his inability to achieve that perfection based on his standards, he chose the path of suicide. Hoping for perfection from his life and literature, Hemingway also wanted death to be perfected.

It is said that on July 2, 1961, before practicing suicide by shooting in a temple, he practiced firing an empty pistol in the temple for about a year. Nearly 50 years after his death, the fascination for Hemingway's writings and his life has not diminished. In the Internet era, Hemingway's fans created Hemingway.com. Every week around 12 thousand people visit this website for the purpose of collecting information about Hemingway. This is a testimony to Hemingway's popularity and the influence that he is counted among the greatest writer-personalities of the twentieth century. He was a writer for whom life was literature.
