Kamal Haasan was born to D. Srinivasan, a lawyer, and Rajalakshmi Srinivasan, a housewife. He has two brothers, Charuhasan and Chandrahasan. His father, Srinivasan, was a freedom fighter. Kamal Haasan showed an early interest in acting and fine arts, and his family was supportive of his passion.

Acting Career of Kamal Haasan:

Kamal Haasan made his acting debut as a child artist in the film "Kalathur Kannamma" (1960). He later appeared in several Tamil films as a child actor before making his adult acting debut in "Arangetram" (1973). His breakthrough came with "Apoorva Raagangal" (1975), directed by K. Balachander. He gained critical acclaim for his roles in Balachander's films and went on to establish himself as a versatile actor.
