Bhairon Singh Shekhawat (1923-2010) was an Indian politician who served as the 11th Vice President of India from 2002 to 2007. He was born on October 23, 1923, in Khachariawas, Sikar district, Rajasthan, and he passed away on May 15, 2010. Shekhawat was a prominent leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and played a key role in the political landscape of Rajasthan.

Early Life and Political Career:

Bhairon Singh Shekhawat was actively involved in social and political activities from a young age. He joined the Jan Sangh, the predecessor of the BJP, in the 1950s. He held various positions within the party and was elected to the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly multiple times. He served as the Chief Minister of Rajasthan three times, first in 1977, then from 1990 to 1992, and later from 1993 to 1998.

During his tenure as Chief Minister, Shekhawat initiated several development projects in Rajasthan, focusing on agriculture, education, and infrastructure. Vice Presidency:
