Early Life and Career:

Sunil Shetty was born in Mulki, a small town near Mangalore, Karnataka, India. He completed his schooling from St. Germain High School in Bangalore and later pursued his degree in Hotel Management from the prestigious South Mumbai college, The Institute of Hotel Management, Catering & Nutrition.


Shetty made his acting debut in the film "Balwaan" in 1992. He gained recognition with the film "Waqt Hamara Hai" (1993) and subsequently appeared in successful movies like "Mohra" (1994), "Dilwale" (1994), and "Anth" (1994). He became one of the leading actors in Bollywood during the 1990s and 2000s, starring in various action and drama films.

Personal Life:

Sunil Shetty is married to Mana Shetty, and the couple has two children, Athiya Shetty and Ahan Shetty. Athiya Shetty has followed in her father's footsteps and become an actress in Bollywood.

Some of Sunil Shetty's notable films include "Border" (1997), a war film based on the Battle of Longewala during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, "Hera Pheri" (2000) and its sequels, comedy films where he played the character Shyam, and "Dhadkan" (2000), a romantic drama.
