Windows Task bar

Taskbar is a horizontal rectangular band that is at the bottom of the Windows Desktop. It does not hide due to Windows like Desktop. It always remains Visible and Highlight so it can easily be viewed.

Taskbar's By Default Position Bottom set remains. Which can also be changed in Top, Right, Left. And it can also be locked in one place. Its textures and looks depend on the Windows OS version. Which can vary by version.

The taskbar consists mainly of four parts. Which you can see in the image above.


  1. Start Button
  2. Icons
  3. Notification Area
  4. Show Desktop Button

Start Button

The first and main part of the taskbar is the Start Button. Which are located in the bottom corner on the left side. This is also called the menu button. Its texture also depends on the Windows version. This round, square, can be rectangular.

All Programs, Folders and Settings are accessed with the help of Start Button. From here you can find your favorite Likes program and run it and you can create its Desktop Shortcut.

Taskbar Buttons or Middle Section
Some buttons on the middle section of the taskbar are also pinned. These can be seen after the Start Button. By default, there are only few Buttons Pinned, which can be done more or less as per the need.

In addition to the Pinned Items icon, currently Open Programs, Files, Folders or other items are also displayed on the Taskbar.

Notification Area

Notification Area is located on the right side of the taskbar. Which displays various Notifications and Messages to users who come from the computer. At first, only a few icons appear in the Notification Area. Hidden Icons can also be seen by clicking Upward Arrow.

There are many different parts of the Notification Area, which have different functions. They can see you in the picture above.


  1. Language Icon - This icon Representing Language Setting of Windows. Computer's Current Language can be viewed here. And Language Bar can also be customized. More than one Input Method is displayed when the Language Icon is installed.
  2. Upward Arrow Icon - This icon represents the hidden items. Hidden items can be seen by clicking on this arrow.
  3. Flag Icon shows messages coming from this icon operating system. Users can click and solve this icon by clicking on it.
  4. Network Icon - Network and Sharing Center can be opened from here. This icon indicates that the internet is currently running in the computer or is closed.
  5. Volume Icon - This icon shows Volume Setting. Volume can be adjusted by clicking on it.
  6. Date and Time - The current date and time are displayed at this place. Users can access Date and Time Setting by clicking this icon.

Show Desktop Button

This button is located in Junkie on the right side of the taskbar. Its size is rectangular. Which can vary according to the Windows version. It separates a vertical line from the Notification Area.

By clicking on this button users can access directly to the desktop. And all the open windows become minimize. When mouse cursor is moved on this button, the windows open becomes transparent. Which can easily be viewed by Desktop.

Pin the Buttons to the taskbar

The buttons on any item on the taskbar can be pinched in two ways. That can be imposed.
  1. By Right Click
  2. By mouse drag

Pin to Programs by Taskbar on Right Click

  1. First, press the mouse Right Click on the item that you want to pin on the taskbar.
  2. By doing so, you will have a menu open.
  3. From here you have to click on the option of Pin to Taskbar from among the available options.
  4. After doing so, he will be looking at the Item Taskbar.

Pin the Programs to the taskbar by mouse drag

  • To pin the item by mouse dragging, first press and hold Left click on that item.
  • After that grab that item and drag it to the taskbar and leave it.
  • By doing this, the item will pin on the taskbar.

Unpin Buttons on Taskbar

  • To unpin the Pinned Buttons on the taskbar, press Right Click on the button that is unpin.
  • This will open a list of some options in front of you.
  • From here you have to click on "Unpin this program from taskbar".
  • By doing so, it will be unpin from the Item Button Taskbar.
