Use Of Quick Access Toolbar In MS Word:

The Quick Access Toolbar (QAT) in Microsoft Word is a customizable toolbar that provides quick access to frequently used commands. It is located above the ribbon, and by default, it includes a few commonly used commands like Save, Undo, and Redo. However, you can customize it to add your favorite commands for easy access. 

Here's how you can work with the Quick Access Toolbar in MS Word:

Adding Commands to the Quick Access Toolbar:

1. Adding Built-in Commands:

Right-click on any command in the ribbon.
Select "Add to Quick Access Toolbar" from the context menu.

Click on the small arrow at the end of the Quick Access Toolbar.
Choose commands from the list, and they will be added to the toolbar.

2. Adding Custom Commands:

If the command you want to add is not in the ribbon, you can customize the toolbar further.
Click on the small arrow at the end of the Quick Access Toolbar.
Choose "More Commands" from the menu.
In the Word Options dialog box, select the command you want to add from the left column and click the "Add > >" button.
Click "OK" to save your changes.

Removing Commands from the Quick Access Toolbar:

To remove a command from the Quick Access Toolbar, right-click on the command, and select "Remove from Quick Access Toolbar."

Customizing the Quick Access Toolbar Position:

You can move the Quick Access Toolbar below the ribbon for a different layout. Right-click on the toolbar, and choose "Show Below the Ribbon" from the context menu.

Resetting the Quick Access Toolbar:

If you want to reset the Quick Access Toolbar to its default state, right-click on the toolbar and choose "Reset Quick Access Toolbar."

Keyboard Shortcuts for Quick Access Toolbar Commands:

Once commands are added to the Quick Access Toolbar, you can use keyboard shortcuts to activate them. Press `Alt` on your keyboard, and you'll see numbers corresponding to the commands on the toolbar. Press the corresponding number to execute the command.

Customizing the Quick Access Toolbar can significantly improve your workflow by providing quick access to the commands you use most frequently in Microsoft Word.
