Here are the steps to link your PAN card with your Aadhaar card:

Online Method:

1. Visit the Income Tax e-filing website:
Go to the official e-filing website of the Income Tax Department: [https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/](https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/)

2. Login to your account:
Log in to your e-filing account. If you don't have an account, you'll need to register first.

3. Link Aadhaar:
After logging in, you may see a pop-up window asking you to link your Aadhaar. If not, you can find the option under the "Profile Settings" or "Profile" menu.

4. Enter Aadhaar Details:
Enter your Aadhaar number and the Captcha code. Make sure that the details match those on your PAN card.

5. OTP Verification:
You'll receive an OTP (One-Time Password) on your registered mobile number linked with Aadhaar. Enter the OTP for verification.

6. Linking Confirmation:
Once the Aadhaar-PAN linking is successful, you'll receive a confirmation message.

SMS Method:

1. Send SMS:
You can also link your Aadhaar with PAN by sending an SMS in the following format: `UIDPAN <12-digit Aadhaar> <10-character PAN>` to 567678 or 56161.

   Example: `UIDPAN 123456789012 ABCDE1234F`

2. Verification:
After sending the SMS, you'll receive a confirmation message if the linking is successful.

Offline Method:

If you prefer the offline method, you can visit a service center authorized by the Income Tax Department to link your Aadhaar with PAN.

Points to Note:

- Ensure that the details on your Aadhaar and PAN cards match. If there are discrepancies, you may need to update the information.
- Linking Aadhaar with PAN is essential for filing income tax returns.
