He belonged to the fourth generation of the Kapoor family, a dynasty that has played a substantial role in shaping the Indian film industry.

Debut in Bollywood:

Rishi Kapoor made his acting debut as a child artist in his father's film "Mera Naam Joker" (1970), where he played the role of a young Raju.
