In 1912, at the age of 16, Kartar Singh Sarabha went to the United States to pursue higher education. During his time in the U.S., he became associated with the Ghadar Party, a revolutionary organization founded by Indian immigrants with the goal of liberating India from British rule.

Ghadar Movement and Return to India:

Sarabha played a crucial role in the Ghadar Movement, which gained momentum during World War I. The movement aimed to exploit the British engagement in the war to launch a rebellion in India.
