Dr. Ashok Chakradhar (8th February, 1951-) is a poet and writer. He has a special contribution in the field of comedy. He was born in Ahirpada Mohalla of Khurja (Uttar Pradesh). His father Dr. Radheshyam was 'Profalbha' teacher, poet, child literary and editor. He also edited the 'Balmela' magazine. His mother Kusum Pradhbh was a Housewife. He has also worked as telefilm writer-director, documentary writer director, serial writer, director, actor, dramaturgist, artist and media worker. He is serving as the Vice President of Central Hindi Institute and Hindi Academy, Delhi after retiring from the post of Professor in Hindi and Journalism Department in Jamia Millia Islamia.
