Arjan Singh's Role in Indo-Pakistani Wars:
Arjan Singh played a significant role in the Indo-Pakistani wars of 1947, 1965, and 1971. In the 1965 war, he led the IAF with distinction, making strategic decisions that contributed significantly to India's defense efforts. He was instrumental in expanding and modernizing the Indian Air Force.

In 1966, Arjan Singh became the first officer of the Indian Air Force to be promoted to the rank of Air Chief Marshal.
