2. Veerabhadra Temple:

The main attraction in Lepakshi is the Veerabhadra Temple, dedicated to Veerabhadra, a fierce form of Lord Shiva.

The Veerabhadra Temple was built in the 16th century during the Vijayanagara Empire. It is believed to have been constructed by the brothers Viranna and Virupanna, who were royal treasurers in the Vijayanagara court.
