What is the interference of light waves?

Interference is a property of all types of waves. All of us know that the light moves in the form of waves, so light waves also reflect the phenomenon of interference.
Did you know that this assumption was included by Thomas Young in physical optics? After them, the behavior of interference has been used to express the accompanying waves or vibrations of any kind or the vivid effects.

What is the interference?

When two light waves of uniform elegance and nearly the same dimension move in one direction simultaneously in some medium then according to the principle of superiors, the resulting wave formation. The dimension of the resulting wave varies with the original waves. If the intensity of light is proportional to the square of the dimension, the intensity of light changes. At some places the light intensity is maximum, at some places, minimum or zero. This phenomenon is called the interference of light.
Therefore, when two light waves of equal light pass through the same direction in any medium, then due to their superannuation, the intensity of light changes. This phenomenon is called the interference of light.

How many types of interference are there?

There are two types of interventions: (i) Sophistication or creative interference and (ii) Deficiency interference.
(i) Satisfactory or Constructive Interference
At the point of the medium, the two waves meet in the same art, that the top or trough of both waves falls together, at that point, both waves increase the effect of each other. Hence the resulting intensity of light is maximum. This type of interaction is called supplementary or creative interference.
(ii) Destructive Interference
At the point of the medium of the waves, the waves meet in opposite art, that is, the top of a wave of the second wave or the top of the second wave on the trough of a wave, at that point, both waves destroy each other's influence. Therefore, the resultant intensity of light at that point is minimum or zero. This type of interaction is called demoral interaction.
Oil droplets from different motor vehicles in the rain season split on the road as a thin film. In the light of the sun, this film is visible in different colors. Similarly, thin film made of oil droplets on the surface of water also looks colorful. The colorless bubbles of soap are also colored in sunlight. The reason for all this is the interference of light.
