Daulatabad Fort

Daulatabad is a city of Maharashtra whose ancient name is Devgiri. Capital of Mughammad bin Tughlaq Daulatabad Fort. Daulatabad Fort was the most powerful fort of medieval Deccan. This is the only such fort that no one could ever win. Daulatabad Fort is one of Deccan's most entangled forts.

The strategic and powerful construction of this fort is one of the best preserved forts in the country.

During the time of the Tughlaq dynasty, the fort was strengthened in different ways and a strong wall of about 5 km was constructed to protect the fort.

As a strategic measure to prevent the entry of an unknown, many puzzles have been made at the entrance of the fort. During the rule of the Tughlaq dynasty, a 30 meter moon tower was built inside the fort.
