Early life of Dalton Trumbo:

        James Dalton Trombo was an American scriptwriter and novelist who scripted many award-winning films, including Roman Holiday, Exodus, Spartacus, and Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo. In one of Hollywood Ten, he refused to testify before the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUC) during the investigation of the Communist Impact Committee in the motion picture industry in 1947.
