G7 Summit Main Points

If the temperature does not decrease by the end of the century, then there is a huge danger for everyone.

World's renowned meteorologists have drawn the attention of the leaders of the G7 countries to the dangers associated with the earth's temperature not falling by 1.5 °C by the end of this century. It has been said that if the temperature does not decrease, then the world will have to suffer great economic, environmental and human losses. At that time there will be no solution for it.

Meteorologists warn G7 leaders

Scientists have reminded of the resolutions of the Paris Agreement, saying that despite the passage of six years, little has been done to reduce the temperature and reduce the emission of harmful gases. The situation is deteriorating continuously. Before the World Environment Summit to be held in Glasgow in November, the G7 summit should draw up a Declaration on the Environment and their implementation.

In order to reduce emissions of harmful gases, poor countries should be provided with alternative sources of fuel. Experts from the University of Exeter and the International Center for Climate Change and Development issued a statement warning of the dangers of the future.

Demonstration by wearing masks of leaders

In Britain, leaders of the G7 summit and activists of environmental protection organizations demonstrated on the beach to attract media attention. The summit is being held in a resort built on another bank of the same sea. Demonstrators gathered in hundreds, wearing face masks of leaders and holding cards regarding their demands in their hands. The protest was organized by the Anti-Sewage organization against dumping of garbage in the sea.
