Pravasi Bharatiya Divas:

Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) is an annual event celebrated in India to mark the contributions of the overseas Indian community to the development of India. The day is observed on January 9th every year, commemorating the return of Mahatma Gandhi from South Africa to Mumbai on January 9, 1915.
