1. Bodh Gaya, Bihar:

Significance: Bodh Gaya is the most sacred place in Buddhism as it is believed to be the site where Siddhartha Gautama (Lord Buddha) attained enlightenment under the Bodhi Tree.
Main Attraction: Mahabodhi Temple, Bodhi Tree, Animesh Lochan Chaitya, Great Buddha Statue, Bodhi Sarovar (Pond of Enlightenment).

2. Sarnath, Uttar Pradesh:

Significance: Sarnath is the place where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon to his five disciples after attaining enlightenment. It is considered a significant site in the history of Buddhism.
Main Attractions: Dhamek Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, Mulagandha Kuti Vihar, Ashoka Pillar, Sarnath Museum.

3. Lumbini, Nepal (Near Indian Border):

4. Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh:

Significance: Kushinagar is the place where Lord Buddha is believed to have attained Parinirvana (enlightened death). It is one of the four main pilgrimage sites in Buddhism.
