Ashtami Tithi will start at 9:06 am on August 11. This date will be till 11:16 in the morning till August 12. Talking about Vaishnav Janmashtami, it is being said as the auspicious time of 12 August. Shri Krishna can be worshiped on Wednesday night from 12.05 am to 12.47 pm. Ashtami Tithi will start only after sunrise on 11 August 2020. On this day, this date will last all day and night. Lord Krishna was born in Rohini Nakshatra on Ashtami Tithi. However, this year Tithi and Nakshatra Krishna are not on the same day according to birth.
According to the Hindu calendar, this year, Bhadrapada Krishna Ashtami Tithi will begin from 9:06 am on 11 August and will last for 11:16 minutes on 2 August. At the same time, if we talk about Rohini Nakshatra, then it will start at 03:27 in the morning of 13 August and will end at 05:22.
Fast on Janmashtami like this
1. On the day of fast, wake up in Brahmamuhurta and retire from bathing routine.
2. You can also do fasting in this fast.
3. Take water, fruits, kush and smell in your hand and resolve the fast.
4. Make a swing for Lord Krishna and place his statue on it.
