Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella was awarded the Padma Bhushan. He was awarded the country's third highest civilian award for special service. Nadella, who is planning to come to India in 2023, said that it is a matter of pride for him to get the Padma Bhushan.

After receiving the award, Satya Nadella said, 'It is a matter of pride for me to receive the Padma Bhushan, given to extra-ordinary people. I am grateful to the President, Prime Minister and the people of the country.

Nadella said that he will continue to work on advancing technology with the people of the country in the times to come. He also told that he is planning to come to India in January next year.

Nadella is in San Francisco

55-year-old Nadella's name was included in this year's list of 17 Padma Bhushan winners. He is currently in San Francisco. The Consul General of India present there, Dr TV Nagendra Prasad handed over the Padma Bhushan to him.

During the meeting with Consul General Prasad, Microsoft CEO said that the role of digital technology is very important for India's inclusive growth. Nadella said that we are passing through a period of historical economic, social and technological change. In such a situation, the political and technological development of the country is necessary.

Nadella said that the coming decade will make its mark with digital technology. With the use of technology, everyone is getting more benefits at less cost. This will lead to many innovations in the future.
