1. Cleanliness before Hanuman Worship:

Before starting the worship, ensure that you are clean and in a state of purity. Take a bath or wash your hands and feet.

2. Choose an Auspicious Time:

Hanuman worship can be performed at any time, but Tuesdays and Saturdays are considered particularly auspicious for Hanuman puja.

3. Place for Hanuman Worship:

Set up a clean and quiet place for the worship. You can use a mat or a clean cloth as a seat.

4. Hanuman Idol or Picture:

Have an idol or a picture of Lord Hanuman. You can also use a Hanuman Yantra if available.

5. Offerings (Prasadam):

Offer fruits, flowers, and sweets as prasadam. Hanuman is especially fond of bananas.

6. Light a Lamp:

Light a lamp with ghee or oil. It symbolizes the dispelling of darkness and the spread of knowledge.

7. Chant Hanuman Chalisa:

Recite the Hanuman Chalisa, a devotional hymn dedicated to Lord Hanuman. It consists of 40 verses and is a powerful way to invoke Hanuman's blessings.

8. Recite Hanuman Mantras:

Chant Hanuman mantras such as the Hanuman Beeja Mantra or the Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra. The Hanuman Beeja Mantra is "ॐ हं हनुमते नमः" (Om Ham Hanumate Namah).

9. Offer Sindoor (Vermilion):

Hanuman is often adorned with sindoor. You can apply sindoor to the idol or picture as a part of the worship.

10. Garland with Marigold Flowers:

 Decorate Hanuman with a garland of marigold flowers. Marigold is considered auspicious in Hindu rituals.

11. Read Hanuman Stories or Perform Bhajans:

 Read or narrate stories from the Ramayana that highlight Hanuman's devotion and loyalty. You can also play devotional Hanuman bhajans.

12. Conclude with Aarti of Hanuman Ji:

 Conclude the worship with the singing of the Hanuman Aarti. You can find specific Hanuman Aarti texts or sing a general Aarti dedicated to Lord Hanuman.

13. Pray with Devotion:

 Close your eyes and offer your prayers to Lord Hanuman with sincerity, devotion, and a pure heart.

14. Donate:

 Consider donating to the poor or a charitable cause as an act of selfless service, reflecting Hanuman's devotion to Lord Rama.
