How to do Shraddh

Keep these things in mind in Shraddh

1. Those who perform the tarpan daily under Shraddha Karma, they should follow the rules of celibacy in Pitrupaksha for 15 days.

2. Do not use oil, boil during bathing. Offer it daily after bathing.

3. Midday Qutup and Rohini Muhurta are considered best for Shraddha Karma.

4. To offer ancestors, mix milk, sesame, kusha, flowers, smell in water, then satisfy the ancestors with it.

5. It is believed that the souls of fathers are satisfied by offering it with water. There is a shortage of water in the Pitrilok, so at least one should be offered with water on each day of Pitriksha.

6. On the day of Pitrupaksha, Brahmins should eat food and donate clothes. It provides food and clothes to the fathers.

7. After giving food and clothes to Brahmins, they should definitely give Dakshina. Giving Dakshina results in Shraddha.

8. Food should be taken daily for the fathers in 15 days of Pitrupaksha. Remove grass for cows and crows.

9. At the time of Pitrupaksha, any Manglik or religious work such as house entrance, marriage, Mundan, 16 rituals are forbidden. Buying and wearing new clothes is prohibited.

10. Do not perform shraadhkarma even at night and evening. Father's shraddh son does, in absence of it, wife, granddaughter or married daughter's son ie grandson can do it.
