JEE Advanced 2020: This big change in admission rules in IITs
There is good news for the students preparing for admission in IIT. This time a big change has been made in the rules for admission to IITs. Under this, for admission in Indian Institute of Technology, now only JEE Advanced Qualified and 12th pass is required. This year the rule of merit in the 12th has been lifted. This decision has been taken due to infection of Kovid-19.
In this regard, Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank announced that in view of the partial cancellation of class 12 examination by various boards, this year IIT has decided to exempt admissions in admissions. HRD Minister has also tweeted in this regard.
In fact, this time due to corona virus epidemic, many board examinations including CBSE, ICSC were postponed due to earlier lockdown. It was then said that the examinations would be held after the lockdown was over. Under this, the CBSE and ICSC board had also released the schedule of examinations. But parents and students demanded the cancellation of examinations during the Corona virus epidemic. After this, by canceling the final examinations, both the boards have recently declared the results of 10th and 12th. Therefore, because of this, this time the mandatory requirement of 75% marks in 12th has been removed.
