UJALA Scheme

UJALA (Unnat Jyoti by Affordable LEDs for All) Scheme is a government initiative launched by the Ministry of Power, Government of India, with the aim of promoting energy efficiency and ensuring widespread distribution of energy-efficient LED bulbs to consumers at affordable prices. The scheme was launched on January 5, 2015, by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi.
