Early Life and Acting Career:

Shatrughan Sinha was born into a Kayastha family in Bihar. He graduated in arts from the FTII (Film and Television Institute of India) in Pune and later moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in acting. He made his acting debut in the film "Sajan" in 1969 but gained significant recognition for his role in the movie "Kalicharan" (1976). He became popular for his on-screen persona and unique style.

Sinha appeared in numerous successful films during the 1970s and 1980s, including "Dostana," "Naseeb," "Shaan," and "Kaala Patthar." He worked with several leading actresses and directors of his time, establishing himself as a versatile and bankable actor.

Political Career of Shatrughan Sinha:

Shatrughan Sinha entered politics and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the 1980s. He served as a Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha (the lower house of India's Parliament) for multiple terms. He also held various ministerial positions in the central government.

In 2009, he was re-elected to the 15th Lok Sabha and was appointed as the Minister of Health and Family Welfare in the Government of India. He remained associated with the BJP for several years before joining the Indian National Congress party in 2019.

• Shatrughan Sinha played the very famous 'Chenu' in Gulzar's film Mere Apne. After that, working in the film 'Kalicharan', the enemy came to Bollywood's Limelight. In 24 hours after the release of 'Kalicharan', Shatrughan announced to give unit members a bonus for their one month salary.
• Shatrughan Sinha married former Miss Young India 'Poonam Sinha'. Shatrughan did propose by writing 'Pakija' dialogue 'Do not keep your feet on the ground ...' on the train running in Poonam. After marriage, he has two sons, Love, Kush and a daughter actress Sonakshi Sinha.
• The 70s was a period of competition between Shatrughan Sinha and megastar Amitabh Bachchan. Shatrughan Sinha was also going to do a role in the film 'Sholay'.
• Shatru tried his hand at politics as well as films. Bihari Babu has been Union Minister and currently BJP MP from Patna Sahib in Bihar.
• Shatrughan worked in many such films which started but stalled in the middle and could not be made, the names of those films are - Violence, Do Nambri, Jeb Hamari Mal Tumha, Agneeshpath, Nahale Pe Dahala.
