Early Life and Introduction to Shooting:

Bindra was introduced to shooting at an early age. His parents, who were avid shooters themselves, recognized his talent and supported his passion. He started training in shooting under the guidance of his first coach, Lt. Col. J.S. Dhillon.

International Success of Abhinav Bindra:

Bindra's breakthrough came at the 2001 Munich World Cup when he won a gold medal in the Men's 10m Air Rifle event, becoming the first Indian to win a World Championship gold in shooting. He followed this success with several medals in international competitions, including the Commonwealth Games and Asian Games.

Historic Olympic Gold Medal:

Bindra's most significant achievement came at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. In the Men's 10m Air Rifle event, he displayed exceptional skill and concentration, winning the gold medal.
