Early Life and Education:

Ram Nath Kovind was born into a humble family in rural Uttar Pradesh. He studied law at the DAV College in Kanpur and later obtained a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and a Bachelor's degree in Law from Kanpur University (now known as Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University).


Legal Career:

Kovind practiced law in the Delhi High Court and the Supreme Court of India. He served as the Central Government Advocate in the Delhi High Court from 1977 to 1979 and as the Central Government Standing Counsel in the Supreme Court from 1980 to 1993.

Political Career of Ram Nath Kovind:

Kovind's political journey began in the early 1990s. He held various positions within the BJP, including serving as the President of the BJP Dalit Morcha (1998-2002) and the President of the All-India Koli Samaj. He was also a Rajya Sabha (the upper house of Parliament) member from 1994 to 2006.
