IPKF monument error

On August 15, 2012, R.K. Colombo reporter of Radhakrishnan, The Hindu reported a mistake of fault on IPKF transcription:

"Inscription read: IC 32 9 7F MAJ.PR Ramaswamy Parameshwaran MVC 25 November 1987 8 Maharashtra, MVC stands for the Maha Vir Chakra, the second largest army decoration in India, no one has ever paid attention to the mistake. There is no guarantee that the names and honors of 1200 soldiers written on stone were all right, since independence, only 21 Indians have been honored with the name of PVC, which was given the honor, the only Mahar Regi Ent soldier also offers India's largest military decoration awarded to the PVC. This should be active in the regiment since 1 9 41. "
